Heroes of the Lylat System

Star Fox got suggested to me a few years ago at one of my art table and I really like how the sketch went but, like many of my recent sketches, just got buried in my sketch books and resurfaced only recently.  I loved Star Fox 64 so much, it was one of those games I had to get 100% on.  I picked it up shortly before starting this picture to get in the mood and was wondering how the hell I beat it on hard while still getting gold medals.  I did play the original SNES game but never got very far, love the music though.  Assault was alright but I think they tried doing too many things.

For the costumes I do prefer the designs from 64/Smash Bros more than the assault designs.  I would have liked to have done the same for Krystal (note to self: do the same for Krystal for a different drawing) but I was worried she'd be unrecognizable and I find her Assault design to be wa-ay more appealing (design and color wise) than her tribal or command outfit.  Since I did use Falco and Fox's Smash designs I took a little creative initiative to make try and make Slippy and Peppy designs like their old ones but a little updated to be in line with Falco and Fox.
